I found the Rick Warren reference really offensive. I was like, "hey, thanks for saying a queerbigot is totally a great person to model life after." Jerk. And the whole ceremony was mega boring.
And yeah I know this comment is like a month late. lol.
Oh yeah, the speaker suggested reading The World is Flat and A Purpose-Driven Life and I was gone. I mean, WTIF has some interesting ideas, but mostly I felt that the book was a justification to continue exploiting third-world countries. And Rick Warren... Well, you said it.
You can tell I totally don't care what the menz think of me. ^_^

What made it a church service? The recommendation to read "Purpose Driven Life"?
It was the random hymn-singing at the end. Pep band was much better than the choir. Much more tone-appropriate.
